Where did LEAP get its name?

Blezoo has a VIP trade show that we do once in a blue moon called “LEAP.” 

It’s a way for clients to have a fun time engaging with new products & connecting with our team. Clients have found great success taking advantage of this opportunity, and we love the 1-on-1 time!

So, where did the name come from?

The first LEAP show occurred on Wednesday, February 29th, 2012. Leap day! Hence, the name “LEAP” for our initial showcase. A year later, we tried re-naming it something else, but many of the customers just continued to call it “LEAP”. 

Quite a branding problem, right? 

Sometimes it’s best to just go with the inertia of your customers. So I decided then to keep the name, and built up an acronym:

LEARNING
EVERYTHING
ABOUT
PROMOTIONS

And that’s how we started & then reinvented the name “LEAP.”
